It is a place you go to in order to slow down, reconnect, and rejuvenate. While at first it may appear that there is little to do in this sleepy town, nothing could be further than the truth. Activities include kayaking (bayfront and seaside), bird watching at Kiptopeke State Park, swimming and sunbathing, golf at Nicklaus' Signature Golf Course, antiquing, visiting the specialty shops of downtown Cape Charles, bike riding, eco-tours, surf- and deep-sea fishing, crabbing and fishing off the local pier, beach combing, museum visiting, fine dining and day trips to Tangier, Chincoteague, Assateague, and Virginia Beach.
