Best of both worlds on the fantastic Eastern Shore! Gorgeous home located on Onancock Creek (feeds into the Ches. Bay, 15 min. boat ride to beach) has dock in back yard yet historic and adorable town of Onancock, with it's restaurants and antique shops, is right at the end of the driveway! No need for a car, the perfect getaway! Built in 1998 it has large rooms with center hallways, hardwood floors, brand new plush carpeting in bedrooms, modern appliances, two huge porches ( the back one screened and housing a shower) lend themselves to easy gatherings. Bright and beautiful, it's furniture and colors were appointed by a professional decorator. Located at the end of a short street on about a half acre of property. Private and peaceful! Master queen bdrm has attached full bath w/ private access to back porch. Upstairs: two queen bdrms and two rooms with two twins each. Full bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs. Outside hot tub is steps from back porch. Nearby tennis and golf.

Onancock is a quaint and historic town on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia. The history dates back to the Revolutionary War with the last battle being fought right in Onancock Creek. There are graveyards in the town that date back to that era. In addition, there are a couple of antique stores, several wonderful restaurants, a movie theater, a playhouse, a charming gardening shop, a bed and breakfast, and a marina with a wharf that is used for loading/unloading the Tangier Island Ferry. Crabbing, fishing and all watersports can be done on the creek. All of this is within walking distance from the home. A 15 min. boatride takes you to a small quaint beach that sits at the juncture of the Creek and the Ches. Bay. A 10 min. drive takes you to the Onancock Country Club where you do not have to be a member in order to play tennis or golf. 40 miles north is Assateague, famous for its wild horses and 60 miles south is Virginia Beach and all it has to offer.
