Blairsville Cabin Summary

Enjoy Low Rates and warm weather in May or Memorial Day and a few weeks are open in the summer (but going quickly). CREDIT CARDS Now Accepted! Kedra on Lake Nottely is a 2 hr. drive from Atlanta and feels like an elegant mountain lodge. It has everything you would want in style, space, and peacefulness in our 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and tons of living space. Our den with a stacked stone fireplace is open to the dining room with seating for 14, and 3-cook kitchen. The master BR is on the main level and windows line the rear of the house allowing for a great view of the lake. Upstairs are two enormous BRs and a full bath. In the family room you can have friendly competitions in air hockey or play station or relax by the TV. Also located on the lower level are two more BRs and a full bath. The crowning feature is the gently-sloped property ending with a fire pit, sandbox, canoe, and private dock on a quiet cove ideal for swimming or snoozing away a lazy afternoon

Our family settled in Blairsville for a vacation spot as we found it offered the perfect combination of natural beauty, a quaint 'undiscovered' feel to the town, and yet plenty of entertainment and conveniences within a short drive. You will love the low traffic lake with mountains breaking a beautiful backdrop and we have a pontoon boat available for rental. Short drives bring you to local, state and national parks which offer waterfalls, picnicking, putt-putt, paddle boats, beaches, camping, hiking, educational centers, and more. For the more adventurous, try an Olympic white water rafting trip or a historic train ride. Our family favorite restaurants include a pizza place with a game room, a finger licking good BBQ place and a seafood bar on the lake. You may want to spend a quiet day in Helen, GA or Murphy, NC. Finally, each season has its own specialty such as the Tour de Georgia Bike Race, the North GA Fair, the breathtaking fall colors, and the Sourgum Festival.

  • Our cabin is ideal for family trips, multi-generational reunions and get-togethers with friends. Because we have 5 full bedrooms on 3 different levels and each is private and attached to a bathroom, it is easy to have a large crowd and still feel like you have your own space and peace. Two of the bedrooms are big enough for a family of 4 or 5 to share easily. For a fun bed-and-breakfast feel, we have decorated each bedroom with its own unique style. You will be fighting over who gets which one year after year.
