Rhodos Apartment Details
Access: The apartment is accessed through a door at the front of the house and is suitable for children. The marble stairs are wide with handrails. The bedrooms of the Posiedon apartment are directly accessible from the front door which has steps leading up to it. The whole property has electric heating/air-conditioning. There is a TV with satellite points in the living room.
Coast and Beach: The beauty of this property is its position next to the beach, which is almost private because access from the road is very limited to passing traffic. It is used mainly by residents. The 10 kilometre sweep of Gennadi Bay is magnificent with views to Kiotari and Pefkos. The beach is sand and pebble. It is ideal for beachcombing. The sea is clean with a Green Flag award and is suitable for swimming for most of the year.
Things to see on Rhodes: Rhodes enjoys 300 days of sun per year. It is an island full of historical and archaeological interest. The island narrows at this point to 22kms across to the beautiful west coast. It is about 6kms to Kiotari, 17kms to lively Pefkos and 22kms to the famous tourist centre of Lindos. It is 24kms to Prassonissi in the south where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Seas meet spectacularly.
