Located on Chicago's affluent, upscale Near North side, the house is a neat one mile north of North Michigan Avenue (the Magnificent Mile) and two miles north of the central business district (the Loop). Within two blocks are the Treasure Island Supermarket, a 24-hour Walgreen’s Pharmacy, a stellar 24-hour X-Sport fitness center and the only 24-hour Starbucks in Chicago. Three other major supermarkets are 4 blocks distant. Whole Foods is one mile west as is Sam’s Wines & Spirits, the largest retail liquor store in the US with great variety at great prices. Epicurean and casual restaurants, live music venues, theaters, museums, art galleries and park, zoo and beach are a short walk.
