Whitefish Cabin Details
Fun Happening Place: Here at Gaynors we have a diverse group of people. From Don and Doug, our Cowboys to Joel and Sarah or Adventure Team there is something for everyone. And now, we are adding another dimension -- We have Campfires every night in the summer. . . Guests gather for smores and great conversations.
Cowboy Camp: Doug and Bill are planning Cattle Drives for early summer, complete with branding, herding and roping. Their version of a Cowboy University. During the season they run the rides out of the ranch and teach you how to rope in the evenings. During the winter, Bill has the team hooked up for sleigh rides and dinner. Dinner chef is our Don who has his world famous steak, wonderful vegetables, bread and dessert.
Adventure Headquarters: We are so close to so many lakes. . . Flathead, Whitefish, Tally, Spencer, Beaver. . . and are on the Stillwater River. There is so much to do such as whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, hiking, Glacier National Park, The Big Mountain Ski area, Dog Sled Adventures. Joel and Sarah can give you advice of where to go and what to do!
Ski: Wow, we are the ski capital of Montana. We have The Big Mountain Ski area and Blacktail Ski area all within minutes of the cabins. There is a groomed cross country ski area three miles from the cabins.
Golf: There are 13 golf courses in the area. . . the closest one is 5 minutes from the ranch. Let us set you up tee-times.
Other Activities: whitewater kayaking, dog sled adventures, cross country skiing, winter horse sleigh rides, wagon rides
