This gorgeous contemporary log home sits peacefully atop the rolling foothills of Blue Mountain, just outside of Jim Thorpe, in the Poconos Mountains. It has plenty of outdoor space including a large rooftop deck with a gas grill, a large covered porch with 5 person hot tub, and a balcony off the great room. Built with tongue and groove logs as well as corrugated steel siding, this house has a striking appearance that glitters with energy! Inside you'll find a whole-house stereo, flat screen TV, XM radio and DirecTV. The house is tastefully furnished and includes linens, towels, and paper products. Within walking distance of Beltzville State Park which has a boating lake, man made beach, and hiking trails. Just 15 minutes from Jim Thorpe's acclaimed mountain biking, river rafting, quaint shops and galleries. Hideaway Hills Golf is about 15 minutes away. Blue Mountain Ski Area is 25 minutes away. House is 1.5 hours from Philly and 2 hours from NYC. Truly a unique vacation home!

Once at the house you are walking distance to Beltzville State Park which has hiking trails, a boating lake and a man made beach. About 15 minutes away is Jim Thorpe's acclaimed mountain bike trails, river rafting, and a quaint downtown area complete with restaurants, small shops, and galleries. About 20 minutes away is Blue Mountain Ski Area... the closest ski resort to Philadelphia.

Personal Chef Service: We have a Personal Chef Service at the house. This means you can have an excellent chef come out to the house and prepare a gourmet 3 course meal right in the house. The meal comes complete with wine from a local winery. Chef Patrick also can provide you with information about things to do or see in the area. This service is $80 for two persons.
