Two fireplaces are available for cool evenings, one located in the living room and the other in the den with hand crafted cabinetry surround and TV with DVD and VCR. A powder room with stone and shell floor and pedestal sink completes the first floor. On the second floor there are 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 baths, (2 ensuite) and a conveniently located laundry. A huge family room is located over the garage with 4 daybeds. The home has 3 zone heat and 2 zone central air conditioning, ceiling fans in living room, den, all bedrooms and family room. 2 car attached garage, walk out lower level with pool table; and outdoor shower, useful when returning from the beach.
OVERVIEW OF THE TOWN: Chatham is a wonderful place for both adults and children with special memories created by visits to the Friday night band concerts, excursions to the fish pier and lighthouse, and boat trips to see the harbor seals. There is a 4.5 mile scenic bike trail as well. For those interested in baseball, the Chatham A's are part of the cape cod baseball league, and games are held at the baseball field in town. Chatham has managed to preserve the flavor of a small New England town. Main Street is lined with specialty shops, historical buildings, art galleries, elegant inns and wonderful restaurants.Our children vacationed here every summer while they were growing up ,and now, together with our children and grandchildren, we are all enjoying this wonderful town.
