Elizabethton Cabin Summary

Enjoy a beautiful forest setting with lots of privacy, gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains, and a waterfall you can enjoy from the large screened-in porch. Plus you only have to walk 200 feet to get a massage. Small log cabin which sleeps five. Sitting area has cozy propane logs but cabin also has electric heat and air conditioning. The owner, who lives adjacent, is a massage therapist with 15 years experience - so you can really have a special get-away and work out all your stress. Very secluded and quiet and in the Smokeys but only four miles from Elizabethton, Tennessee in the east Tennessee area. Close to Bristol Speedway - 16 miles or 20 minutes. Only one and a half hours from Gatlinburg and Dollywood; one hour from Asheville, North Carolina; and 30 minutes from Jonesboro, Tennessee - one of the leading old towns to visit in the United States. Flea markets and antique shops abound. Lots of good lakes and rivers to fish, swim or boat on.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $82.50/night, $215/3 nights, $475/week for two person occupancy, $5 extra per person

    Additional rental information: $5 per night per person over 2, $20 extra per week per person over 2 .$100 security deposit in the form of a money order to hold reservations. This deposit is returned after departure pending cabin inspection. Deposit to be sent to Debra Ilves, 142 Twin Pine Lane, Elizabethton, Tn 37643. It is suggested that you check for availability before mailing deposit.
    Nascar weekends have higher rates. If interested in those weekends for future dates, please contact us.
    Call re: Pets. Additional $50/ pet deposit. Additional $5/day rent per pet. Additional $25 per week per pet.

Elizabethton Cabin Details

Outside recreation: Rivers and lakes very close to property - good fishing rivers within 3-5 miles. Watauga Kayak, about 4 miles away, offers rafting and kayaking. Swimming and boating on local lakes. Lots of hiking opportunities - various entrances to the Appalachian Trail close. Roan Mountain State Park 30 minutes away. Lot of local festivals - Celtic, Native American, Covered Bridge Days - held in Elizabethton which is 4 miles away. Hiking also possible on property. Currently under construction - to be completed by fall, hopefully sooner, property will have a campfire area right by the cabin.

Shopping: Shopping Outlet in Boone, NC which is about an hour away - beautiful trip to get there - by lake and in mountains. Lots of antiquing in area and flea markets also.
