Islamorada House Details
Restaurants: Islamorada has some of the best seafood restaurants in the Florida Keys: Pierre's, Morada Bay, Islamorada Fish Co., Island Grille, Lazy Days, Ziggie's and Mad Dog's, Uncle's, and many others.
Shopping: Islamorada has many boutiques and small charming shops. Wide World of Sports, also in Islamorada, has some of the best outdoor clothing and fishing equipment in the area. They also have a life-size aquarium and a replica of Hemingway's boat inside the store. It is a must see.
Sports: For the active vacationers, Islamorada offers many activities: Snorkeling, fishing, water skiing. You can rent a boat, Kayaks, or even swim with the dolphins. If you bring your own boat, Sea Bird Marina on MM 69.5 (4 miles to the south) has a good boat ramp.
Golf: Sombrero Country Club in Marathon has a wonderful golf course. It has reciprocal membership with many country clubs in the nation.
Guest Book: from Jim Limberakis: We had a wonderful time . The house and setting were perfect. Thanks for allowing us to rent your home. We are already discussing coming back next year for two weeks. This was the first time in the Keys for all of us and we loved the area . We took a day trip to Key West and when we weren't fishing explored the area. We found the restaurants to have good food and all of us enjoyed sampling the local fare. All in all it was a great trip. Again, thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home. from Kim Baron: Good Morning Sylvia, We had a wonderful stay at your property, the house and grounds are immaculate, and the layout of the bedrooms, baths, deck and downstairs apartment work beautifully for a group of family or friends.
