- Each bedroom has a theme. There is the King's Crown room with a canopy king size bed and elegant decor. The big, open, cheerful Country Garden room has two canopy queen beds. Kids will love the twin beds inside the tent in the Mountain Adventure room. A natural, wildlife motif livens up the Wilderness Trail room with its twin beds. Grandma's Attic with two twin beds is a room to explore with dress up clothes in the old trunk. The upstairs balcony has a queen-size hide-a-bed. Guests often comment on how well they sleep. They enjoy the support of memory foam and the soft warmth of the puffy down comforters.

Central location for tourist fun.: -- 20 minutes to: The North Pole amusement park, the Dinosaur Museum, the entrance to Pikes Peak tollway, The Cliff Dwellers, Cave of the Winds, Little Britches Rodeo, The World Theatre, historic Manitou Springs --40 minutes to: Cripple Creek gambling, US Air Force Academy, Focus on the Family headquarters, Seven Falls, the castle at Glen Eyrie, US Olympic Training Center --90 minutes to: white water rafting, snow skiing, the Royal Gorge
Clean air, brilliant sun: In the summer the 8500 foot elevation means pleasant days and cool nights. Our expansive solar windows take advantage of the sun and clean mountain air. Through them you look on to your private yard. There is no central heating system, so on those occasional winter days when the sun is hidden, you set individual heaters in the rooms or better yet, your family will gather around your glowing fire in the wood stove. 'Roughing it' never felt so good.
