Golf Details: Pawleys Plantation Golf Club is open to the public and offers a driving range with free sand trap and practice putting area for the whole family. The world famous Phil Riston - Mel Sole Golf School is based here. * If interested you must register with them separately. The entire regular Golf staff at Pawleys are young pro's working their way through 'Q' school and will be available for golf lessons. Plantation grounds: Pawley Plantation Golf Club and Resort is as much a family resort as it is a golf course. It is a gated community. There are 2 outside pools. Miles of paved roads to walk, bike, roller skate, skateboard or jog, without the fear of busy auto traffic. There are 2 Har Tru surface lighted Tennis courts. The wild life and scenery is like a beautiful bird sanctuary. American Eagles to the smallest finch fly over the marsh and plantation grounds. Dining- Shopping and Attractions: There are hundreds of restaurants within 15 miles and 2 State Parks on the ocean. The world famous Hammock Shops are close by and numerous other unique shops and many clothing and household outlet's in the Myrtle Beach area. Golf: There are over 110 golf courses within 60 miles. Four of the top ten golf course are within 5 minutes, Caledonia, Heritage, True Blue and Pawleys Plantation. Within 10 miles is the Litchfield area with 5 more notable golf courses and it's a short ride to the other 100 golf courses.
