Surry House Details
Eastlook: Originally built as a sea captain's home in 1835, this charming house across the street from the ocean has been totally renovated. The location couldn't be better to capture the stunning views of the ocean and the mountains of Acadia National Park. You will have access to a private beach and a boat launch directly across the street. The house faces Acadia, and offers spectacular views of the sunrise from the master bedroom. The downstairs has been opened up so that one room flows into the other. The large, well-equipped kitchen has an eight foot island with four bar stools, making it easy to prepare meals while socializing with family and friends. Just off the kitchen is a large wood deck, perfect for outdoor meals and barbequing. Acadia with its hiking and carriage trails is less than an hour’s drive. You may also wish to explore other lovely towns along the Maine coast such as Blue Hill, Deer Isle, and Castine. Bring your bike, fishing rod, hiking boots, or just a book and enjoy!
