South Fork Cabin Summary
This cabin is well equipped for all your needs. It is located in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the National Forest, 200 yards from the Rio Grande River, close by is a renowned pro golf course, Creede Repertory Theatre and a miners museum, only 18 miles from Wolf Creek Ski. It is exquisitely decorated. There are three wooden decks on the street side of the cabin for your comfort in viewing the wildlife, mountains, trees and for you to cook and eat on the BBQ grill and picnic table. There are two wood burning fireplaces (one in the living room and one in the first floor bedroom). There is a 12 person hot tub. A canoe, four rafts for river rafting and bicycles are located in the detached garage for your use. Romantic for two, Ideal for small family and friends, large enough for weddings, business meetings, reunions or church fellowship gatherings. The autumn foliage, the beautiful snow, the mountains and the wildlife are breathtaking.

Creede Colorado is 20 miles away and offers shopping. live theatre, and museums. There are sand dunes as you leave Alamosa going toward Walsenburg. Wolf Creek Ski is 18 miles up US160 and boasts to offer the most snow and lowest lift tickets in Colorado. Hunting is across the street. Fishing and rafting is 200 yards away on the Rio Grande River. Alamosa (50 miles away) offers a Wal-mart, golf course, shopping, and many extras. A beautiful golf course and country club is located in South Fork. Bingo is offered in the community center in town. Close by are movie theatres & bowling. A trip to Lake City or over Wolf Creek pass in all seasons offer breathtaking views. Mountain biking & rock climbing are challenging just out the front door. Deer come to the front door to visit. Walking in the neighborhood is popular in the summer. South Fork has something to offer for all ages and all interests.

Air conditioning is not needed. Ceiling fans provide comfortable circulation (the outside air is dry and cool in the summer). We have a caretaker available for hire for daily housekeeping should you need this service. This would be an extra charge above the one-time clean-up fee required for clean up after you leave. She also can answer any questions you have about the home or area. She is quite knowledgeable in this area. Heating is provided with baseboard heaters and wood burning fireplaces (wood is provided). We furnish four rafts and one canoe for river pleasures. We also furnish five bicycles for your use. We offer a BBQ grill, but you are responsible for the propane. Ashtrays are available to use outside of the house. *****check-in time 4:00 p.m - check out time 10:00 a.m.**** 3 night minimum stay is required *****
