Cape Coral House Summary

This home was meant for relaxing. From the 5 reclining seats in the family room to the generous mosaic table on the lanai. Kick back and watch the 50 inch plasma TV in the family room. Or use one of the 5 other TV's in the house to view your own show. Lay out in the sun on one of the 4 loungers. Take a chair down to the dock on and be mesmerized by the waves and water. Let your troubles float away. Inside you can sit and read in one of several calm quiet places or use the cd/radio found in every bedroom for your music. Then again, if you brought your IPOD, you can put it on the speaker and listen to your own beat. For unique fun, try the pedal boat with trolling motor for a leisurely exploration of the canals. Get close to nature, fish or just float on the water. Of course the huge heated, south facing 18x26 pool is great for swimming and nothing beats an evening sitting in the hot tub looking up at the stars. Quiet streets and balmy breezes make walking and bike riding pleasant too

Cape Coral is in the South West part of Florida on the Gulf side. It is about 30 miles to the Gulf beaches of Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. Both of these beaches are fantastic! Sanibel for shelling and lush tropical plants. Ft. Myers Beach for restaurants, jet ski rental, para sailing. Both have terrific long sandy beaches that are warm and quite safe. There are many nature preserves and parks in the area. Cape Coral has a nice beach, concession, pier, restaurant area on the river at the yacht club. If you like ocean adventure you could always rent a boat at a marina, or contact one of the cruises for dinner, shelling or fishing. You could even take a day cruise to the Keys. Ft. Myers is just across the river from Cape Coral and has the historic winter homes of Edison and Ford on display. Ft. Myers has a spring baseball training camp and a hockey team.   • There are 2 full baths. The master bath is large with tiled floors, two mirrored vanities, a large, deep marble soaking tub, walk in shower, enclosed toilet and a linen closet to keep the abundant, thick towels handy. The guest bath has a long vanity and a tub/shower. It opens to the lanai for easy access when changing wet swim suits and keeps the drips on the tile and off the carpet. Each bathroom has a hair dryer. There are three baby items in the house for your very small child; a pack & play, a bouncy seat and a bouncing activity saucer. There is also a pool safety fence you can put up very easily if you have very young children who need to be away from direct pool access.

  • The king and queen bedrooms have luxurious tempurpedic mattresses for a wonderful nights rest. The twin bedrooms all have pillow top mattresses. The linens in the king and queen bedrooms are all 300-600 thread count for that rich fabric feel next to your skin. All bedrooms have brand new furnishings as of January 2007. Included in each room is a night stand(s), mirror, dresser, lamp(s), ceiling fan with lights, carpeting, and vertical blinds. The walls are not bare! At least 3 walls have art work and an art object and greenery to make each room feel homey. In case of a cold night, there is an extra blanket - however there is central heat in the house for those very rare cold spells. The king bedroom has sliders to the lanai which make it perfect for late night trips to that wonderful hot tub! The king bedroom and one twin bedroom also have moving/audio pictures of palm trees and wave sounds. These are great for relaxing and lulling you to sleep. We even have a supply of night lights.

Notes: The streets in the neighborhood are quiet and level, perfect for biking. We have 4 adult bikes and 3 children's bikes. Some baseball gloves and balls, basketball (no net), golf clubs, beach toys, two pool floats, and a few pool toys. We have a small pedal boat and a 12' boat, electric motor has been added for leisurely exploration of the fresh water canals. Get close to nature or just float and relax on the water. The kitchen is stainless steel and very well stocked with 3 different patterns of dishes, each a 12 person setting. One set of dishes is unbreakable for use on the lanai. Nice, heavy 18/10 Reed and Barton flatware for 12. Many pots, pans, baking dishes if you decide to save more money and eat in. We also have a mixer, crock pot and Foreman Grill. But plan to barbecue on the lanai and have dinner in the tropical weather of Florida sitting at the large mosaic stone table & 8 comfortable chairs on the screen enclosed lanai - what Florida is all about. Don't forget we have 6 TVs!

Available Year Round: Florida has fabulous weather year round! If it feels hot, jump in the pool or enjoy our air conditioned house. Sitting outside in the fresh air on the screened lanai feels good year round. The fresh water canal sparkles year round in the glorious sunshine!
