The Red House, this charming old Maine cottage is ideally located, surrounded by Acadia National Park. Enjoy sitting on the back porch looking at Gorham Mountain and watching the bird sore and at night looking a the breathtaking display of stars. We are only a short distance from the Park Loop Road. Bring your own bike or kayak, we have ample storage. We are just a short distance from Blackwoods Stables. You can park your car and hop on the Free Island Explorer bus with your bike and tour many of the Island Villages or be dropped off at one of the many trail heads or Carriage Trails.

Wide range of activities. : If you love gourmet dining, you are just a short walk away from the Burning Tree restaurant. The Otter Creek Market is located just down the street and is stocked with all your grocery needs including locally made goodies and features over 30 varieties of beers, a very nice wine selection and the best Maine lobster on the island. Oh yes! There is also Do A Good Pizza available as well.
