Welcome!: My wife and I and our two kids, 4 and 2, have enjoyed the place immensely and the beach is perfect for children (and adults). The sidewalk runs right by the property and leads to a wonderful children's playground and park... and into Mission Beach with it's bars and cafes and, of course, the ocean! Your no-worry vacation week begins the moment you arrive, with two secure, underground parking spaces, so looking for a parking space is never a problem. Your spaces are directly across from the elevator, making loading and unloading a breeze. Once you're settled in, hit the beach and R-E-L-A-X! Or, stroll down the sidewalk toward Fanuel Park - a haven for kids with the playground and beach together. Continue on along the waterside path into Mission Beach. You can also just cross the street in Mission Beach and enjoy miles of boardwalk all along the ocean.

Details: Mission Bay Park is set up for a range of activities that make it fun for both kids and adults: swimming, skating, bicycling, jet skiing and water skiing, or just relaxing on the beach. You can also take some sailing lessons, rent a boat, or play golf or tennis. This water wonderland also features free parking, great playgrounds, picnic sites, barbecues, and basketball and volleyball courts. Plus, it's minutes from the airport, Mission Valley shopping, and San Diego's new and exciting downtown. You're also freeway-close for day trips to Tijuana, Legoland, the Wild Animal Park and the world famous San Diego Zoo. All 10 to 30 minutes away. Closer to home, around the bay and down the boardwalk, you'll find Belmont Park - San Diego’s famous oceanfront amusement park featuring dozens of shops, bars, restaurants and the West Coast's oldest working wooden roller coaster!
