Bar Harbor Cottage Rates
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- $300/week deposit + $100 refundable breakage/excess cleaning fee received within 7 days to confirm.
- Remaining balance due 30 days prior to scheduled arrival date. NOTE: Pets may require additional fees. Cancellation Policy: $300 refunded in full and $100 cancellation fee on all confirmed reservations if canceled greater than 30 days of scheduled arrival. For reservations canceled 30 days or less to date of scheduled arrival ,deposit and fee are nonrefundable.

Beginning February 1, 2008, returning customers will received a 5% off of each week reserved in addition to early reservation discount! Receive your welcome package upon receipt of deposit. Welcome package includes a map which identifies the location of Sunset Point cottage to Acadia and pages of other helpful information. We are also available 7 days a week for your convenience by phone or e-mail.

Bar Harbor Cottage Details
Sunset Point Cottage: Sunset Point, which enjoys the highest cottage views is Acadia, is a winterized cottage that is comfortable from April through November. There's electric heat in every room, plus a working fireplace. Start the day with a leisurely breakfast with blueberries picked just outside the cottage. Then, after a busy schedule of sightseeing, climbing, biking, sea kayaking, whale watching, or swimming, we recommend a quiet hike to secluded Aunt Betty's Pond followed by a sunset cookout. In full season, as well as in spring and fall (May & June/September & October) Bar Harbor and the towns on Mount Desert Island offer a wide variety of experiences -- festivals, art shows, competitions, great food, and more. Eat in at the cottage or go out for family and gourmet dining in Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Northeast Harbor.
Driving Directions to Sunset Point: Driving Directions to Sunset Point cottage: available upon receipt of full deposit. Suggested stop for ME commuter: 'The Governor's' family style restaurant off ME Turnpike: Maine Mall Exit(Portland), is an easy/affordable stop for breakfast or lunch. Bring your appetite.
Acadia National Park: Acadia National park and Mount Desert Island offer such a wide variety of activities for all ages that it is difficult to summarize. We recommend that you visit the park website or Visitor Center (Trenton) for more details. See also our extra page for suggested activities.
