- Each room is tastefully decorated with antique furniture including dressers with mirrors. The beds have fine linens, down comforters, extra blankets and down pillows. The eat in kitchen is open to the living room and is well stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and paper products. The loft area has a futon mattress, games, books and puzzles for the kids. We even supply a dog bed. The house is tastefully decorated during the holidays so you will feel at home no matter what time of year you come.

Our Mission: It is our goal to provide you with everything that you will need to make Sunrise Mountain your home away from home. If you have special requests prior to arrival, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We can also have upon your arrival a romantic basket package for an additional low cost that will be included in your bill. All you will need is your toiletries and food.
Reems Creek Golf Course: Reems Creek Golf Course is located just 3 driving minutes away and is rated 4 stars by Golf Digest's places to play. It has beautiful mountain views, lush greens and is never too crowded. If you are coming to the Asheville area and want to get in some golfing, it is noted to be one of the best public courses in the area.
Our Story: We own and operate Sunrise Mtn Cottage and Bears Den Cottage ourselves. We only have 2 cottages so that we can maintain a level of integrity. We both have a background in hospitality including running a 4 star AAA rated bed and breakfast in Colorado. We have lived in Asheville for 8 years and love it and love our little gems of properties. We found Sunrise Cottage intriguing as it is so close to everything yet has a country mountain feel. The property across the street has horses and they are so sweet. We love to walk up and pet them when we are there. There are lots of birds, turkeys, guineas, and once in a while a bear visiting. We have incorporated rustic mountain decor, antiques and art work from around the country. The colors are warm and inviting and everything was decorated with relaxation and peace in mind. Our renters love it and we've had many repeat guests. Give it a try...you will love it too! Also, please read our reviews.
