Beulah House Details
Water sports: A number of boats are included in the rental for the summer season. There are two aluminum rowboats, each with oars, and a 6HP outboard. There is a sunfish (sailboat) included as well. There are four styrofoam paddle boards, and various other floating toys. There are several water skis available. A 20-foot Boston Whaler is available during the summer season for an additional charge of $500 per week, plus fuel. This boat requires some training before use, because the lake can get rough, and it can be difficult to get the boat back into the hoist, once out. This boat is too fast for anyone other than an adult boater with at least a little experience. There are numerous life jackets for all ages.
Ski: The house is about 8 miles from Crystal Mountain, which offers full skiing opportunities. In addition, there are ample opportunities to sled right at the house. When Crystal Lake is frozen, the lake offers opportunities to ice skate and to ice fish. The lake usually freezes sometime in January. We keep the long driveway plowed in winter, but it's very steep in places, so renting parties should have at least one All Wheel Drive vehicle, just in case.
Golf: There are at least three golf courses within about 10 miles. More info to come.
