Kaanapali Beach is perfect for long romantic walks, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving. The exceptional swimming pool reflects graceful palm trees which frame the garden. Swim under the stars at night by the light of tiki torches. We love this pool and consider it one of the most attractive and inviting of any vacation home in the islands! During cooler months the pool is heated on a complimentary basis.

A hop and skip from Sea Shells is a beach front kiosk which rents ocean sports equipment including surf boards, boogie boards, skim boards, hobie cats and snorkel sets. During summer months jet skis may be rented in front of the Hyatt Hotel. The charming Sugar Cane Train depot is within walking distance. A convenient beach front restaurant, Castaway, is adjacent to the kiosk serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual beach front setting. The primary Kaanapali Resort hotels as well as Whaler's Village Shopping Center and its many restaurants which feature live music on the beach can be reached within 1-2 minutes by car or on foot if you hike down the beach through the Sheraton Kaanapali Resort and along a paved pedestrian walking promenade that hugs the beach. From the heart of Ka`anapali Beach hop on a sailing catamaran for a snorkel sail, scuba diving, or romantic sunset cocktail cruise.

Notes: The great room of Sea Shells Beach Estate opens to the outdoor patio and pool and has cathedral ceilings with two lounging areas in addition to an entertainment center with iPod dock, CD surround sound, DVD, VCR and large television with premium channels and digital reception. The kitchen has just been re-stocked with all new supplies and small appliances commensurate with luxury standards, including an espresso machine, coffee grinder, abundant serviceware, red and white wine glasses, champagne flutes, martini glasses, Henckel knives, top quality cookware, and so much more to use and enjoy! In particular, we are fond of the new center-island wood table, expansive granite counters, dual dishwashers and sinks, and large Sub-Zero fridge with ice maker.

Beach Access: Access to world-famous Kaanapali Beach is just steps from the house and the beach-side pool. Walk out directly on Kaanapali Beach, a beautiful golden sand swimming beach that stretches for several miles along the shore in front of Sea Shells. The beach is nearly unparalled and is perfect for lap swimming, long walks, romantic evenings laying under the full moon or glittering stars at water's edge. Situated between Maui Kaanapali Villas and several new interval ownership resorts, this stretch of Ka`anapali Beach is less crowded than the hotel zone. There are currently 4 homes on 6 contiguous one acre beach front lots in the vicinity of Sea Shells.

Pool and Jacuzzi: Sea Shells is blessed with a really fun large lagoon shaped free form swimming pool on the beach side of the property. The pool is not fenced or covered. Guests with young children who do not swim well may wish to consider bringing a pool alarm. The pool is now heated on a complimentary basis up to 84 degrees in cooler months. Pool heating is just one of so many new value added conveniences provided at Sea Shells. We have added a lovely large 4 to 6 person hot tub spa which is professionally serviced weekly. From the hot tub you can overlook the pool, the sunsets, tiki torches, and out towards the ocean.

Other Non-Standard Amenities Provided : From Sea Shells you may walk just one block down the beach to a charming casual beach front cafe called the Castaway if you don't feel like cooking. You may also pick up dinner to-go from Castaway. Brand new electric hot tub spa. Gas grill outdoors. Office area with equipment and supplies. Laundry center. iPod dock. Safe. High speed wireless internet service, iMac computer, beverage fridge, very well equipped kitchen with gourmet supplies, new or newer electronics, high thread count all cotton linens, very spacious floor plan, direct beach front access, two dishwashers, large garage available for use, various pool and beach toys, some DVD and Videos stocked, games for children, small book library, beach towels and chairs.
