Seaglass Blues, Great Comfort : Our condo is furnished with comfort in mind. From hooks where you need them (on the back of the doors for your towels) to a couch you sink into and read a book -- we go all out. We live close by and use our places so they are kept in tip-top condition. This unit was decorated for my family. We have a pack and play, high chair and the second bedroom has a full and a twin bed. I did this selfishly for my kids (so that we could put them all in one room!)...but i have found people and families love this. That bedroom has a pristine view of the little lagoon, and locals here far prefer that little lagoon to the gulf...believe it or not! The view from this unit is pure gulf and the seaglass tones and seaglass blue walls (you can't see them real well in the pictures) are quite calming. They make you want to relax!

Fun things to do abound...We make it easy!: We have high end mattresses also. All of our mattresses are firm and designed for me, since i have a bad back. We did not skimp on these one bit. Our condo has granite counterops in the kitchen, high end cabinetry, and great appliances (with filtered water). We also have granite in the bathrooms as well. We upgraded and installed large tile in the unit and a thick sisal gushy carpet in the bedrooms. Pottery barn linens, furniture, makes comfort a sure thing. There is much to do in and around Gulf Shores. We are close to Mobile, Alabama -- A great day trip if you are down for a length of time. We are also close to Pensacola and to Fairhope, Alabama. All are wonderful day trips for families or couples. I have a book with my personal favorites and since I'm local, I guarantee you'll enjoy my book with where to find the best fresh fish and little tidbits that will give you some great ideas and an edge as to know what to do.

Building Amenities: Find out what all the locals are raving about. Our outdoor pool beach club is a direct design from a high-end resort in Bali. It features a lazy river, hot tub and fountains. There is a sun deck, high end beach chairs and a lovely gazebo. You will be thrilled with this pool and you can do it all while staring at the cerulean blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. For those high waves days, this the way to play. There is a blue bridge from our building going over West Beach Blvd directly to this beach club, so you will never contend with traffic. In addition, there are two pools at the building itself. One is a true indoor pool with fountains, and the other is an outdoor pool with hot tub. Also at the building itself is an arcade, a fitness center and a high end media room that would be an ideal place to host a Thanksgiving gathering. You need to reserve this with the front desk a day in advance. Have all your family rent their own spaces and then meet up in the media room!

Golf: There are great places to golf in and around Gulf Shores. I am an avid golfer and here are some of my favorites: Rock Creek - Fairhope (40 mins) Peninsula - Ft. Morgan (15 minutes) Kiva dunes - Ft. Morgan (15 minutes) Gulf shores Golf Club (3 minutes) Craft Farms - Gulf Shores (3 minutes) Lost Key - (known to the locals as 'Lost Ball') in Perdido Key, Florida 15 minutes Also, Lakewood Country Club at the Grand Hotel (Marriott in Pt. Clear) is on the Robert Trent Jones golf trail. It is expensive, but worth the price. Timbercreek in Daphne, Alabama is also nice. Keep it in the fairway!
