Snowshoeing: Strap on your snowshoes for an afternoon excursion on the back country trail network that radiates out from the Snowshoe Sporting Clay facility as you enjoy 43 kilometers of marked trails. And, for the most hearty of souls, you can choose to follow a trail that could bring you to the Shavers Lake, the the Sunrise Back country Hut or even to the Firetower deep along the Cheat Mountain Ridge Trail. After a quick break to catch your breath, it's back to the Village to warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon - or entire day!

Guided Fly Fishing Trips: Pocahontas County, WV is known as the 'Birthplace of Rivers' with eight of the finest trout streams in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast originating within the County. In the center of Pocahontas County, Snowshoe Mountain sits nearly a mile high atop Cheat Mountain and offers anglers and sportsmen endless opportunities to explore this amazing region. With an extensive array of ½ day, full day and multiple day fishing excursions, Snowshoe Mountain is your base camp to a fishing experience of a lifetime. All guided trips will be centered around the following rivers and streams: Cherry River, Gauley River, Shavers Fork of the Cheat, Cranberry River, Greenbrier River, Tygart River, Elk River, New River and Williams River. Guided Fly Fishing Packages. Our season begins in April and lasts through November. Since teaching is one of the vital services a guide can provide, many of our trips are instructional oriented. We can concentrate, if you like, on specific techniques you may want try.

Split Rock Pools: Just like any great swimming hole, Split Rock Pools is the perfect place for kids to splash around while making new friends. With a geyser, water filled dumping whiskey barrel and slides, Split Rock Pools is ideal for those who want to take some time off from adventures found in and around Snowshoe. But Split Rock is not for just the kids - with several large hot tubs and a sauna, Split Rock Pools is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day on the mountain. Split Rock Pools is open daily, beginning November 21. It is open from 3pm - 9pm on Monday - Thursday and 1pm - 9pm Friday - Sunday. Split Rock Pools is free of charge for guests lodging through Snowshoe Mountain Central Reservations. A $6 fee is required for other guests, $3 for kids ages 5 and under.

Golf: An Incredible Course in an Incredible Setting Swing your way through the Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain and you'll experience one of the truly great golf courses in all of America. Long fairways take advantage of the rolling terrain, some dropping as much as 200' from tee to landing area. Tees are framed by panoramic Allegheny vistas. Each hole is unique to itself and offers a golf experience unmatched anywhere else.
