Recreational Opportunites Abound : Serenity Bend is located in the heart of lovely Benzie County. The Betsie River meandering through the county offers many opportunities for water sports and fishing. In our stretch of the river many salmon have been caught. One can sit on the second story deck and watch deer cross the river, ducks float downstream and observe blue herons wading along the shore. A birder's paradise. Travel up the road 5 minutes and play at Crystal Mountain Resort. You don't have to travel to Colorado to enjoy top notch winter sports. Up the coast to the north is Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. A wonder of nature with breathtaking vistas of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands. Go to Pt. Betsie a picturesque lighthouse visited by thousand's every year. Stay at Serenity Bend and be close to it all. Relax by the campfire at night and listen to the silence.
