Golf Perfection: Riverwood is one of the US's top-rated golf courses ranked a 4.5 stars course by Golf Digest and in the 'Top Ten Places to Play' in 2004. It was also named in the 'Top 100' Courses for women. The 18 hole par 72 championship course was designed by Gene Bates, and provides a superior golfing experience for players of all levels. There is a fine golf club with 18 hole learning/practice greens & driving range & instructors. Rental guests may play the course for a fee and also dine at the excellent restaurant open for lunch & dinner and on weekends breakfast too. The course is set in natural preserved areas with natural Florida flora & fauna throughout. The area has the natural beauty one would expect from of an Audubon sanctuary a wildlife variety that is staggering.
