Resort Amenities: Chesnut Bay Resort was designed for families, fishing groups, and couples wanting to get away. It is a gated resort for the privacy of our guests. The resort has a 120 foot water slide that will make you feel like you are ten years old again (even if it was more than a few years ago). We also have an incredible water trampoline, kayaks, paddleboats for water fun! There is a heated swimming pool for those who do not like to swim in the lake as well. If the weather gets too hot, there is always the game room. With games like Pac-Man and Galaga- you will have a blast. There is a playground for children and a pavilion for family get-togethers. Each lakefront home has its own private dock for fishing and docking your boat, and the resort has lighted sidewalks for gorgeous evening walks.

Local Attractions: There are many things to do at Lake Weiss, even if the fish aren't biting. With the largest canyon east of the Mississippi River just a few short miles away, it would be a shame to miss it! The Little River Canyon is just a few miles away. Saturday mornings are just right for a Flea Market! Collinsville is only open on Saturdays, but they open at 5:30 a.m. Get there early! They have everything you could possibly imagine. Mentone is a small town located in the mountains with various antique shops & cozy restaurants. While you are there, don't miss horseback riding at Shady Grove Dude Ranch. Cherokee Rock Village is nearby as well. With incredible views, this amazing rock formation is for both climbers and sightseers alike. There is also great golfing and the resort can help you secure a fishing guide, as well as a rock-climbing or kayaking trip.
