Three excellent new eighteen hole courses have been developed over the last three years within ten minutes drive of the centre of Tavira. Benamor is a lovely course just five minutes out of town. It is in excellent condition and has a lovely friendly clubhouse, is easily walk able and even has a church where you can retire to contemplate the reason for all those three putts on the fast sloping greens. Just a mile further out of town is the superb 36 hole complex of Quinta de Cima and Quinta da Ria where the fairways are like greens in the UK!
