- The vacation rental guesthouse is a private, one bedroom unit that comfortably sleeps two in a King size bed. The bedroom is a 'proper', secure, '4 walls' with windows and screens. The kitchen, dining, and shower are all 'outside'! Under the shade cover of a roof, you can kick back, relax and enjoy the splendor of the tropics with no walls to block your view of the ocean, jungle, and the 1955 lava flow we live on. Let it rain and still be outside!

Get away from it ALL!: Here, in this eco-friendly environment, on the Big Island of Hawaii, you can relax and feel as if you are truly at the 'end of the earth!' Experience absolute peace and quiet. No phones ringing off the hook; your cell phone won't even get reception! If you really want to “get away from it all”; this is the place! The gentle crashing of ocean waves will lull you to sleep, and you will wake up to the songs of singing birds in the Hawaiian jungle.
R & R: Why stay locked up in a stuffy hotel when you can be a part of the scenery! Are you ready to leave the techno-mind-jolting-daily-grind, and live Simply, Slowly, in peace and quiet, surrounded by tropical beauty? 'Being able to live outdoors was exactly what we wanted out of our time in Hawaii, and being able to do it in total privacy was a blessing! It was SO ROMANTIC that shortly after we left you (literally the next day) my boyfriend proposed to me!' - a happy guest
Bugs?: Mosquitos? You may well wonder, and the answer is; sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on the tradewinds. We supply citronella candles, organic mosquito spray repellent (as well as the 'deet' kind), and those wonderfully smelly mozzy coils. I've not heard any complaints about them yet...only raves about the beautiful array of geckos that share your outdoor space!
Guest Book: Sharon, just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful time we spent in your little house. The little touches of personal generosity that you added were just icing on the cake for an already stupendous vacation/honeymoon. We will not soon forget the wonderful time we spent watching the geckos chase each other, or the sun setting over a lava field and jungle at our fingertips. Perhaps an anniversary will lead us back there again; we sure hope so. peace, love, Gabriel and Sarah Aloha Sharon! I don't think we ever told you what a wonderful time we had at your place. We had the most wonderful, relaxing vacation at your delightful cabin. Being able to live outdoors was exactly what we wanted out of our time in Hawaii, and being able to do it in total privacy was a blessing! It was so romantic that shortly after we left you (literally the next day) Dov proposed to me! We think of you and your home fondly and recommend you to everyone we know!
