Wilmington Chalet Details
Wildlife abound!: The lake, brook and surrounding woods provide a perfect wildlife habitat. This year we've seen: deer, heron, beaver, otter, geese, ducks. The family of ducks ask to be fed at least twice a day. Moose tracks have been seen on our beach. And a pair of black bear are well known to the area (keep the trash cans lids latched!). The brook has brook trout, frogs and crayfish. And of course the lake is loaded with perch, brook trout, rock bass, and mud puppies. In the surrounding woods the kids will also enjoy catching salamanders, newts, and garter snakes.
