Peoria Condo Summary

This condo is in a residential neighborhood in Peoria, AZ, near the 101 freeway at Olive Ave. The new Glendale stadium is a couple miles away and the top is visible from the entrance gate. The new stadium is a venue, not just for the Cardinals, but also for concerts and other entertainment. The Spring Training ballparks at Peoria and Surprise are a short drive away. The growing West Valley has excellent golf, restaurants, shopping, antiquing and sports. In nearby downtown Phoenix are great museums and cultural events. The adjacent city of Glendale is known for its many antique shops and famous bead museum. The condo has two master suites with a small dining area, full-size washer-dryer and two small patios-front and rear. It is recently purchased and remodeled and is a great vacation home. We prefer non-smoking guests but you are welcome to smoke on the patios. The Fiesta Bowl will be played at the new Glendale Stadium. In 2008, the Super Bowl will be played in Glendale.

Located in the western part of the Phoenix valley, Peoria is in the fast-growing area that has attracted baseball for spring training and Cardinals football. The condo is about 40 minutes from Sky Harbor airport and convenient to Luke Air Force base and the new shopping areas and golf courses springing up in the west valley. The Fiesta Bowl is played at the new Cardinals Stadium 2 miles from the property in adjacent Glendale. The Super Bowl will be played in Glendale in 2008.

Peoria Condo Rates

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • We ask for one-third of the rent to be paid to guarantee the reservation with the remaining two-thirds due at least 60 days prior to arrival. The entire amount is refundable if cancellation occurs at least 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will not be refunded. In addition, there is a non-refundable cleaning fee of $100.00 due with the final payment at least 60 days prior to arrival.
  • The security deposit of $400 will be refunded upon inspection.

  • The fixtures in the master bath are new and the room is freshly painted with a small skylight and single sink with granite top. The guest bath has a small skylight and new toilet and there is a fiberglass tub/shower combination. The room is freshly painted. These are really two master suites as the second bath is near the guest bedroom, and it is across the living room from the master bedroom for maximum privacy.

  • The simply furnished large master bedroom has a walk-in closet and bathroom that has just been remodeled from a fiberglass tub/shower to a large tiled shower with a seat. There is a table and chair for setting up a computer station near the cable outlet in the master bedroom for high-speed Internet access. The second bedroom was not painted at time photos were taken, but it has two twin beds, a night stand and chest with mirror. The large walk-in closet has plenty of storage space. The linen closet has beach towels, extra towels, and kitchen linens. The love seat in the living room converts to a twin bed.

Notes: This is a gated community with the gates left open from 5 am till 7 pm but locked at night The remote for the gate is available inside the unit but guests should plan to arrive before 7 pm unless there is sufficient time for a remote to be mailed to the guest prior to arrival. There are two parking spaces allotted to the unit, one covered directly in front and one uncovered and not marked. There is plenty of parking for guests, but no RV parking. The living room love seat opens to a twin bed so the condo can sleep five, though it is ideal for 2-4 people. The pool is convenient and there is a club house with workout room. Instructions for the mailbox are with the keys that will be given to the guest.

The Condo: This condo has territorial-style architecture and the complex is small and residential with a high proportion of owner-occupants. It is not age-restricted, though residents tend to be mostly adults. The neighborhood is rather quiet and, even though the 101 freeway is very close, noise is minimal. There is much to do in the Phoenix area, making it ideal for winter visitors. The Glendale stadium and new Cabelas store are a mile or two away. The west valley is expanding rapidly and many new cinemas and shopping areas are being built.
