The lake level is up and fish are biting! Enjoy the lake and mountains in this spacious new house surrounded by Lake Nottely and the Chattahoocee National Forest. Relax on one of the three front porches that overlook the lake and woods, or hang out by the water on the two story boat dock. Not your typical mountain cabin, this custom lake home is built with architectural details like 100 year old heart pine floors, salvaged farmhouse doors, stained glass, and tin roof. The home is comfortably furnished with antiques, Pottery Barn furnishings, and fully stocked kitchen. The main floor great room has a 24 foot vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace. Large kitchen has breakfast bar that seats four and adjoining dining room that seats ten. Master suite has a queen-size bed, large bath with Jacuzzi and shower. Upstairs are a second master with queen-size bed and two adjoining bedrooms with two queen-size beds, four twins and a shared bath. The basement level has pool table, TV room, laundry.

Guest Book: Just wanted to tell you what a great time our family had during our few days at the Bishop House. Especially loved the reclaimed doors and those amazing wood plank floors!!!. R. Meyerwitz- Atlanta. Once you arrive, you never have to (or want to) leave - you can take hikes, go jogging, swim, fish, sun, and just plain enjoy your friends and family - which is exactly what we did - for a wonderful weekend!! A.Cramer- Atlanta. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The lake was clean and not too crowded and the National Forest (our neighbor) was delightful. A. Bennett- Neenah,WI.
