Nearby is historic Dunagan's store (now an Antique Mall), Mill Springs Park with 13 springs that provide the water to turn the Mill's 40ft overshot water wheel (largest in the world) to grind corn, two historic houses that featured in the Civil War that can be toured along with touring the mill. Between the mill and the point where this house is located is a deep cove with a 50' wide and 15' high water fall fed by Meadow Creek, which you cross on a two-lane concrete bridge as you pass through the farm to the house. About the house: Built for Mom and Dad and four children along with Grandma, the main house had a total of 5 bedroom & 3 baths. The grandmother apartment over the garage is not rented, but reserved for owner's' use. One bedroom turned into a pool room, giving now 4 usable bedrooms. All rooms are large, smallest bedroom 11x13. Kitchen has two ovens, one microwave-convection, dishwasher, disposal, etc. There is over 1000 ft of decking, built in hot tub and views to lake and mountains. Views in all directions.

About the area: This house is located just five miles from Conley Bottom Resort Dock by either land or water where there is an easy access boat ramp, boat rentals and docking. It is about 30-40 minutes by water to either Lake Cumberland State Park Restaurant or the Harbor Restaurant up Fishing Creek. Nearby also is Monticello's highly rated museum. A city park has tennis, horseshoes, picnic shelters, baseball diamonds and walking path. Several golf courses are nearby, such as at Woodsen Bend Resort, Burnside State Park, Somerset Country Club. Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is less than 40 minutes away. Many, Many hiking trails in state parks and in the Big South Fork National Recreation Area just south of Burnside and the Daniel Boone National Forest. Somerset has a miniature golf course, a water park, YMCA (with three pools, two indoor), indoor recreation building (as does Monticello). More to see and do in this area than can be done in months.
