Step onto the deck of our home and be transported by the sweeping view of Oceanside's pristine beach. You're not in Kansas anymore. When you rent our house you'll have your own private sanctuary from all things hectic. The house features 2 cozy bedrooms, with full size beds and down comforters, 1 bath, and a loft with a trundle bed, perfect for kids or adults who enjoy waking to a view. A fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, CD & DVD player, board games are provided for your entertainment. And for XM Radio subscribers, there's a boom box ready to receive your module. The two over-stuffed leather recliners provide a perfect spot to read or gaze at the ocean. You can look at the sunset and the evening news from the plush sofas in the loft. Oceanside is one of the most water-activity-friendly locations in the country. Aside from the endless ocean activities - swimming, surfing, sailing, fishing, kayaking, beach combing, etc. - there are five nearby rivers in Tillamook, fifteen minutes away, that provide countless canoeing and kayaking adventures. Tillamook, the county seat, boasts the Pioneer Museum, Latimer Quilting Museum, the Tillamook Naval Air Station Museum, (home of the largest wooden hanger in the world) and the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory which draws a million visitors a year. If hiking is your thing, the Tillamook forest offers beauty, solitude, stunning views, bird and wildlife watching, etc. Munson Falls, towering over 250 feet, is a nearby wonder. The Three Capes Scenic Loop offers spectacular views of the coastline plus the historic Cape Meares Lighthouse.
