- The home has 3 levels: The middle level is the main level and contains the dining/living room, Kitchen, two bedrooms, main bathroom and large deck area. Two large decks are off the main and lower level. A huge california oak tree meanders through both decks and gives the house its name. Upstairs is the master suite with its own bathroom and seperate deck entrance. Adjacent to the master suite is the 'loft', that looks down onto the living room/ kitchen area and has a T.V. and library section. The bottom level has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a laundry room. All rooms lead out to a large deck area and meandering pathways. The sixth bedroom is the 'sun room' = a T.V. room with optional airbed, which is one of the rooms on the bottom level. 3 flat Lawns on property + Wild plum trees.

Nature Activies /Beaches:: Located across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, it has more protected land than any other city in the USA. Large open space areas can be accessed via the National, State and County Parks. The Golden Gate National Recreation area covers not just San Francisco, but Marin County as well. Leave 'the city' (San Francisco), drive or bike, or walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, and reach recreational paradise. Enjoy Marin Headlands, Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods National Monument, Mount Tamalpais State Recreation area, Samual P. Taylor Park, Olompali State Park and China Camp State Park - just to name a few. Beaches: **Stinson Beach: 2o minute drive (beautiful! Very serene & happening beach. Complete with Kioske) **Bolinas Beach: 30 minute drive (incredibly scenic!) **Pt Reyes National Seashore: 25 minute drive or less. *Muir Beach: 24 minutes from home (Ocean) -Soak up the sun after visiting Muir Woods giant Redwoods or after touring Green Gulch Farm Z
Wines, Farms, & Golf: Marin Vacation Rental Retreat is a perfect home base from which to tour the Napa Valley wineries, such as Mondavi , Clos du Bois, & Fetzer. Arrive in central Napa Valley or even Sonoma Valley (another great adjacent wine region) in just 40 minutes or less. More interestingly, visit Marin’s cheese farms , such as Cowgirl Creamery. To go with that cheese, step it up a notch. Marin is very well known for its organic Pey-Marin Pinot Noir, due to the unique climate conditions for that grape- now that is living-organically! Who can’t handle that? Golfing: Several public and private golf courses can be accessed in Marin County. Take advantage of of Marin’s beautiful, varied terrain, in a variety of settings, from the foot of Mt.
