Enjoy a great location! You will be close enough to the Gulf to see the ocean sparkle and feel the sea breezes with only a five minute walk to the protected neighborhood beach! This beach home is less than a 10 minute drive (8 miles) to the hustle and bustle of Galveston restaurants and shops and just under an hour to downtown Houston. You can spend more time enjoying your vacation and less time on the road. Additionally, because Pirate's Beach is closer to the Seawall, you will not have to fight the traffic that plagues the subdivisions farther west on Galveston Island. Pirate's Beach is one of the nicest neighborhoods on Galveston's West End with its wide streets and well manicured lawns. Here you will find many high end homes in a safe and secure subdivision along the beach with a strong emphasis on a massive dune restoration project and also a prohibition against cars on the beach. You will NOT see any cars speeding down the beach here as you do on other Galveston beaches.

Reservations: Please feel free to check our online calendar for availability. Your reservation is not confirmed until we provide you with a written confirmation depending on availability after we receive both: a completed application/agreement (request one via email) a refundable deposit of $500 via check or Paypal (if reservation is made within 30 days of arrival date). Please email us to request an invoice for the dates requested. If your reservation is made fewer than 30 days prior to check-in, it must be paid in full plus taxes in addition to the $500 refundable security deposit by using a credit card over PayPal. All other reservations must be paid in full 30 days prior to check-in. Checks are accepted for reservations made prior to 30 days before check in. Returned checks will not be redeposited and incur an inconvenience fee of $50. We do not provide travel insurance, although it is recommended.

Cancellation Policies: In the event that a reservation has to be cancelled, this must be done in writing. It is the guests' responsibility to verify that we have received the cancellation notice. Every effort will be made to re-rent the cancelled period. If the period is re-rented and confirmed, the amount paid will be refunded, less a $75 cancellation fee. If we are unable to re-rent the canceled period, money paid will be forfeited.
