This cozy waterfront home offers a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic get-away or family outing. Its charming living room has a large fireplace, breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Hood Canal. There are also great views of the water from the kitchen, dining area and bedrooms. The kitchen is outfitted with everything a gourmet cook will need. The large deck is great place to watch the sunset after a busy day of boating, crabbing, fishing and oystering. The private pebble beach offers plenty of room to relax, swim, fish, sunbathe or look for shells, starfish and interesting rocks. And there’s nothing like a crackling fire on the beach for grilling oysters, cooking s’mores and just having great family conversations. Dungeness Crab are abundant just offshore and, with proper licensing, you can use the row boat and crab pots to harvest them. The home is decorated with unique nautical antiques, comfortable furniture and great beds.

Hood Canal, a fjord off Puget Sound, has an average width of 1.5 miles (2.4 km) and an average depth of 500 feet (152 m). It extends for about 50 miles (80 km) southwest from the entrance to Union, where it turns northeast and extends for about 15 miles (24 km) to Belfair. It separates the Kitsap Peninsula from the Olympic Peninsula for its entire length. The house is on the East side of Hood Canal facing west towards the majestic Olympic Mountains, historic Seabeck has a great country store, espresso shop, café, gift shop and marina. You will find even more in Silverdale (15 minutes) including a shopping mall, many restaurants, cinemas, antique ships and much more.

Seabeck House Details

Guest Book: We had a wonderful 4 nights, the cottage felt like home, it was comfortable had a well equipped kitchen, lots of firewood for the fireplaces inside as well as the fire pit on the beach. Lots of wildlife, saw 3 Bald Eagles, a beautiful woodpecker, leopard seals Great oysters !! we ate them raw and cooked them on the fire (like Mike suggested) w/butter and garlic. Even saw a submarine. We will be back again. Kathy and Jim McDonough, Lake Forest Park WA. (thebug622@comcast.net) ~~~~~ This is a completely charming cottage right on the edge of the water. Sitting on the deck I watched the Olympic mountains appear & disappear, I saw Seagulls getting dinner by dropping a mollusk from on high so that the shell broke open. I saw a seal chase a fish, catch it, and toss it in the air & swallow it! A great fireplace (and lots of wood) a fully stocked kitchen, a great neighbor, what else could you ask for!
