For the Kids: There are numerous activities to do in Big Canoe for families of kids both young and old. The beach and outdoor pool are at the swimming lake where there is an abundance of activities for everyone. At the outdoor pool, there are restrooms, covered porches and snack bar. There is a large accommodating mineral pool with free form entry at one end. The pool overlooks the white sandy beach and swimming lake with lounging dock and views of the golf course.
Kids Continued: Next to the beach, you can rent canoes and paddle boats at no charge with your home rental and explore the lake. A small hiking trail wraps around the lake and leads to the natural rock waterslide which is a big favorite for kids and adults. There are several small waterfalls surrounding the natural rockslides that empty into natural rock pools below. At the very bottom of the waterslide, there is also a kayak and canoe drop into a stream that empties out under a bridge into a large lake that wraps around the scenic golf course
Golf: Big Canoe has a beautiful 27 hole mountain golf course. Most of the holes have beautiful vista views with lakes, mountains, and streams all around you. The holes are challenging but playable for most golfers. Golf packages are available, please contact the owner for special golf rates and availability
