Snow shoeing, cross country and down hill skiing are all a short drive away or in the meadows surrounding this beautiful property. A short drive brings you to the Antique center of New England (Woodbury) as well as Lake Quassy Amusement Park with rides, swimming and entertainment all summer. Largest farmstand and local organic produce within ten minute walk along with dairy farms, Scottish cows and gorgeous views abound in the Litchfield Hills. Roxbury has town tennis courts, town lake, and new playground all within a 5 minute drive. Litchfield County boasts multiple festivals and fairs, church bazaars, book sales and the Connecticut Wine Trail, musical and theatrical events and the Warner theatre.
