We have taken great pride in decorating this 2200 sq. foot home with all new and unique accessories and 'rustic contemporary' furniture. Specially designed butcher block makes the large kitchen counter and breakfast bar a favorite spot to eat. We have a large loft/library with panoramic views and comfy chairs to relax in while reading from a large and varied collection of books. We even have a craft basket; craft table and journal writing area to make your trip more memorable. Lots of children's games; toys and play area. We have added a new raised premium air bed with all new linens for this area if needed. Sailboat, jet skis and pontoon boat rentals and some of the best fishing in the Rockies are all here on one of the three lakes. Satellite TVs ; DVD and VHS players available to enjoy movies you bring with you or enjoy ours! Local video rental store has a great selection too.

The Grand Lake Golf Course and Cross Country Ski Touring Center are only five miles away. Restaurants, gift shops, miniature golf, horseback riding, repertory theater and the best Fourth of July fireworks in the mountains! Hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park (maps provided) or drive over the trail ridge road to see moose, big horn sheep or herds of elk. Lots of fine dining restaurants, many with Great Lake and Mountain views, and even some with live music for dancing. Fall aspen viewing is spectacular too. In the winter, ski Winter Park, just a 30 minute drive or Sol Vista a short 15 minutes away. Numerous groomed snowmobile trails abound in the Grand Lake area. Wintertime is wonderful with views of the snow covered peaks from most windows. Activities galore with snow shoeing and cross country skiing on the trails next to the property. The recreation room has VCR/DVD for movie viewing and stereo system. We also have a short wave radio for those that might enjoy listening to overseas stations. The rec room also has many varied books to choose from as well as games of all types and a new ping pong table. Look through our binoculars as we have a lot of great wildlife to observe including a family of moose in our neighborhood! Watching the ducks throughout the day meandering down the canal is also a sight to remember. The new hummingbird feeds on the upper deck show the variety of these beautiful and interesting birds. Ski: Winter Park is a first class area for all levels with a great village and entertainment 30 minutes from our house. Mary Jane is the newest area of Winter Park and loved by many across the country. Sol Vista is a nice small family ski area 15 minutes away.

Golf: There are various top of the line golf courses within easy distance from this property. Grand Lake has its own very picturesque and challenging course about 5 minutes away with a bar and dining area.

Other Activities: Outstanding Repertory Theater throughout the year ! And Hot Springs with varying temperature pools and a regular swimming pool just 20 minutes away.
