Folly Field Villa Summary

We've been vacationing at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis for a while now and when we saw this wonderful two bedroom villa just steps to the beach, we just had to have it! It has the ideal location: first floor overlooking the Admiral's row pool and with an ocean view too! It's on the sunny side of the building looking out towards some gorgeous private beach homes. We love that we can sit on our balcony and have a view of our kids in the pool. This is not the resort's main pool so it is still pretty quiet and, of course, we also have easy access to the main, olympic size pool. The resort is wonderful- everything you could want. We just purchased and renovated this villa. We've installed new ceramic tile through the hallway, kitchen, dining and bath and new light beige carpeting in the living and sleeping areas. There are new bathroom fixtures, stove, micro and dishwasher. Sofas are new and super-comfy. Kitchen is fully equipped with new dishes, etc.

Nearest airport:   Hilton Head at 5 Miles

We are in the ocean villas- Admiral's Row situated on the beach at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. The resort is quite large and has secured access. In my view, the beach is the nicest on Hilton Head. It is quite wide and relatively uncrowded because there is some distance to other resorts. The resort also offers 10 lighted tennis courts, a huge pool and a second, more private pool, as well as kid's playground and barbeque gill area. We are walking distance to Carrabas Italian restaurant and Adventure Cove golf and activity center. We are in the midst of many more restaurants, shopping and activities: mid- Island, in the heart of everything!

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Ask for special rates for longer term rentals in winter. Great snow bird getaway!

The second bedroom has new Laura Ashley comforters and accessories. The twin beds and dresser are a beachy, white wicker style.

Notes: Charcoal barbecue grills onsite (not allowed on balconies- resort rule); ten lighted tennis courts; two pools- one is huge with lots of lounge chairs and an adjacent tiki- bar/ casual restaurant overlooking the beach and pool. The second is outside our building, tends to be quiet since it is situated for use by the Admiral's Row buildings only. There is a convenience store with video rentals, beach items, necessities on-site; full service restaurant; kid's playground, basketball court, and exercise room, bike rentals on-site with great biking. We're close to stores and restaurants that you can bike to on Hilton Head's great bike paths and, of course, you can bike on the beach. The Resort is private access- you must go through a guard's gate and, thus, be a resident or renter to enter and there is roving security as well. The landscaping is beautiful, with lots of palm trees, flowers and shrubs and beautifully maintained. This is a great place for families and couples.
