You have it all at your fingertips.....beautiful harbor with classic yachts, charter schooners, beach, picnicking, live performances at the Opera House, new Maine Media Workshop facilities, Maine Center for Contemporary Art, Corner breakfast shop, Expresso Shop and wine tastings all within walking distance. Walk to Camden (1.5 mi) for an array of shops, galleries, restaurants and another terrific harbor. Leaf-peeping is a past-time enjoyed by locals as well as tourists during the September thru November season. Art fairs and flea markets abound during this crisp and beautiful time of year. Winter enthusiasts can enjoy skiing at the Camden Snow Bowl or cross country treks on Beauchamp Point and local farm fields. Ice skating is available at the Midcoast Recreational Center along with tennis. Then there is always the well-known and infamous National Toboggan Race held in Camden each year.
