Summer is even better on the mountain: Who said you need snow to enjoy a mountain? Hiking, biking, water rafting, fishing, antiquing - all are better in the summer when the crowds are gone and the sun is out. Add to that some of the best golf in VT (Okemo Valley Golf course is minutes away - and Stratton Mountain, Green Mountain National, Tator Hill, and the Equinox are about 45 minutes drive) and wonderful dining and shopping (Manchester discount shopping is a true small town experience)
