Rocking Chair Rapture: The rocking chairs on your back porch were such a thoughtful touch. We spent so much time just enjoying the surf, the gulls and at night we could so so many stars! It was an unexpected surprise to see so many stars! It's been so long since we were anywhere without light pollution. Our son was thrilled! Shell-a-licious!: Thank you Judy and Alan once again for opening your home for our family reunion. We rented Eastside and Westside and the kids ran around from beach to shower to beach. The kids collected shells in the morning and we loved watching the volunteers work with the turtles. We played volleyball, we grilled and most of all, we relaxed. Golf: Holden Beach is a golfer's paradise. There are 30 to 40 courses within a half hour. If your family will tolerate it, you could play golf every day in a different place for a month. Enjoy!
Other Activities: Town of Holden beach has a bookstore and small shops, restaurants.
