Golf Courses: Golf courses open to the public in the vicinity includes: Falmouth Country Club, Ashumet Country Club, Paul Harney C.C., Woods Hole Country Club and Santuit - All within 30mins of the house.
Nature walks, Kayaking and camping: Interesting nature walks and camping associated with the National Marine Estuary Reserve and Washburn Island Reserve right on Waquoit Bay. Also, hike the south Cape Beach State Park 5 miles away which has special programs for all ages throughout the summer. Kyak in Waquoit Bay and the associated river and marsh inlets - osprey, geese, swans and other wildlife abounds!!
Windsurfing/ boating/ fishing: Excellent Windsurfing right off the beach in front of the house with a strong consistent south west prevailing wind. Two boat moorings and dingy come with the property. Take trips to the Vineyard by boat in an hour from the house and many lovely neighboring bays and rivers to explore. Great Fishing in both Waquoit Bay, associated rivers and Vineyard Sound.
Other Activities: kayaking, camping and hiking on Washburn Island Reserve
