Flights and car hire: Orlando International is approx 19 miles from the apartment and Orlando Sanford is approx 65 miles drive. Car hire is available at both airports from a variety of car hire companies, which are easy to find and open all hours. You can pre-book car hire (e.g. via the Internet) to save time when you arrive in Florida. If you are not spending the whole of your holiday in Florida, you will easily be able to find a company that allows you to collect your car from one airport and return it to another. Driving directions from the airports to the condo will be provided.

Information: An information pack is provided in the apartment and any enquiries can be made to myself before arrival or to the management company when you are in Florida. I can direct you to websites giving information on golfing, tourist attractions, state parks, car hire, horse riding, water sports etc. For this information or anything else, just ask and I'll see what I can do!

More about Terrace Ridge: Although popular with families with children, Terrace Ridge (and its locale) is fairly quiet - ideal for relaxing after a busy day! Being on a non-busy road only 1 mile from the interstate road I4, it is also very convenient for reaching theme parks and golf courses, exploring further afield, accessing local essential amenities and finding your way from the airport. At Champions Gate, only 5 minutes drive away, there is a supermarket, a few restaurants (some will home deliver!), pharmacy, liquor store, bank (with ATM) and gas station. There are other eateries, cinemas, shopping malls/outlets and various attractions within a 15-20 minute drive and most of the Orlando theme parks are located along the I4.

Golf: Orlando is known as one of the great public golf regions of the United States. Courses range from the reasonably priced and relatively unknown to the high profile and fairly pricey. Highlands Reserve and Champions Gate, both within 10 minutes drive from Terrace Ridge are good examples. There is a huge variety of other courses within easy reach of Terrace Ridge. The welcome pack in the condo lists some, giving a brief description. Also the condos local managers are keen golfers and can provide advice on this. They may even be able to fit in a round with you!
