Activities:: Your rental includes full Kiawah Island Golf Resort privileges including: discounted golf rates, use of outdoor heated/cooled swimming pool with towel service, complimentary transportation vans, resort front desk which will assist with numerous business services, tennis privileges, discounted beach chair and bike rentals, and numerous other island activities. The villa is also 200 yards from Night Heron Park where you will find the heated/cooled swimming pool with poolside cafe and bar, a nature center where you can arrange ocean and marsh water excursions, basketball courts, playground, soccer fields, and picnic area. In the summer and during holiday weeks, the resort offers Kamp Kiawah for kids as well as numerous family-oriented activities. Just outside of the resort entrance is the Bohicket Marina where you can arrange for many boating activities, including deep-sea fishing and dolphin watching.
Golf: There are 5 world class championship golf courses on Kiawah that are open to the public. Guests are entitled to discounted rates at all courses. These courses include Cougar Point, Turtle Point, Osprey Point and the most famous Ocean Course, designed by Pete Dye. This course was host to the 1991 Ryder Cup Matches and is the future host of the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and the 2012 PGA Championship.
