Great for family & friends who vacation together.: Great for family & friends who vacation together. If renting both untis, combined there are 2 hot tubs; parking for 8 cars. Almost oceanfront - 25 steps to the beach across the street ! Large back yard. 2 gas BBQ grills; 4 baths; outside shower with hot & cold water; wireless internet. Each side has 2 decks. Sleeps a total of 20 utilizing sleep sofas & sunroom.
Family area in quaint area. No high rises: Family-oriented area. Nearby are two restaurants within walking distance; a dock where pleasure boats & fishing boats are kept. Fish off a mile-long jetty; kayak rentals nearby. Buy lobsters off local lobserman at boat prices. People return year after year for vacations in this area which was originally a quaint fishing village. Not spoiled by high rises.
GOLF & AMUSEMENTS : Many golf courses in this area; one about 5 miles from the beach area open to the public. Amusements at Old Orchard, 3 miles away. Funtown USA is about a 10-minute ride from the beach which is a popular theme park & water park. Also on Rte. 1 is the Aquaboggin, also a large water park. Mall about 20 minutes away. We're half way between Kittery & Freeport for outlet shopping.
