Abiquiu Cabin Details
Surrounded by natural beauty: Cumbres Toltec Railroad nearby in Chama, NM. Tierra Wools nearby in Los Ojos, NM. Fishing nearby on the private side of Heron Lake and Willow Creek. Georgia O'Keefes Abiqui and Ghost Ranch as well as Ojo Caliente Hot Mineral Springs and Spa are about an hour away. Taos, Taos Pueblo and the Taos Gorge Bridge is 1.0 hours to the east, Unwind, decompress, get away from it all except perhaps KTAO's Joseph the Starwatchers' daily horoscope. Great area for families as well as reunions and retreats of any kind.

Guest Book: Michael, Thank you so much for the use of the cabin. We had a wonderful time. The weather was great (actually had some rain, thunderstorms, one day), plenty of wildlife (deer every day feeding on the driveway; never knew hummingbirds sat still!), magnificent stars and planets, cool nights (a shock to the system returning to TX), and welcome quiet. I hope that we left it in good shape (left the trash, but cleaned before we left - all the sheets and towels were washed and put back on the beds). I do have a suggestion: when we have rented other homes the owners have had a notebook or something at the house for renters information. You could do this, and have some pages with nearby activities (lakes, fishing, hiking, etc), directions to grocery in Chama, other restaurants, info about the house (is there an outside faucet? what to do with the trash(!), how to work the TV, etc). Also include a section where people could write about the wildlife they saw. Kathy Blass, Texas.
