Follow the winding wooded pathway down the hillside to your retreat nestled on the shores of Micajah Pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This cozy cottage is truly rustic with knotty pine walls and wood stoves throughout. Decorated with original artwork and boasting an incredible view of the water it is a tranquil retreat anyone would enjoy. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the enclosed sleeping porch just off the master has two twin beds and the living room sofa pulls out for an additional queen bed. The large upper deck has a beautiful view of the water and smaller lower deck is at waters edge with stairs leading right into the water. There is a sandy space for the little ones to play and a neighborhood beach 5 cottages down. The upper deck and small yard are fenced and gated to help keep small children from wandering down to the water without an adult. Amenities include a kayak, life jackets, sand toys, cable TV and grill.

This is a great little hide-a-way in America’s hometown. Plymouth is a town with many attractions, historic sights and great golfing. The cottage is only two miles from downtown and beaches. Downtown Plymouth is located on the waterfront and has some great antique shops and many good restaurants. Some local tourist attractions include Plymouth Rock, The Mayflower II and Plymouth Plantation. Take a day trip to Cape Cod. It’s only a 10 minute drive away. Boston is a 40 minute drive.

  • Weekly rental rates $875 - $1,100 per week
  • A 50% deposit is required to reserve dates. The balance is due 30 days before you arrive. If you need to cancel and we are able to re-rent your week we will refund your deposit less 10% of the total rent. A $200 damage/cleaning deposit is required and will be refunded within 10 days of occupancy provided there is no damage and it's left clean.

A quiet and peaceful get-a-way ...: Kayaking is wonderful anytime of day, but it is an especially relaxing activity in the beautiful light of the early morning or at sunset. We have a blue one-person model to enjoy during your entire stay. Micajah Pond is protected by conservation laws, which prohibit motor boats - you'll never have to worry about noise and diesel fumes. If you like to fish, the pond is well stocked and you are sure to catch something just from fishing off the deck. There is a small sandy beach at the cottage for the little ones to enjoy and a nice private neighborhood beach five cottages down the lane that you are also welcome to use.
