Big Bear Lake House Details
Ski Season: Within 2 blocks of the Snow Summit Ski Resort and 4 minutes to Bear Mountain Ski Resort. Tubing for the kids at Alpine Slide/Big Bear Snow Play. Snow play is also available at Bear Mountain Ski Resort. There is a beautiful dry creek running down the center of the front of the property. The property is located on a corner lot with an adjacent lot next door for the ultimate in privacy and quietness. Our cabin is very nicely furnished with unique handmade solid oak furniture, doors and top of the line oak molding is featured throughout. It is so nice, we spend several days each couple of months even though we only live a mile away. We also like to go over on Sunday afternoons and just enjoy a bottle of wine of the front deck - so quiet and peaceful.
Spring and Summer Season: 9 Hole golf course, Snow Summit Sky Chair to the top of the mountain for unbelievable views of the lake, Valley and much more. Take a walk on the Alpine Pedal Path around part of the lake, picnicking, playing miniature golf, horseback riding and petting zoo at Baldwin Lake Stables, movie theaters, bowling, farmer's market every Tuesday, bike riding around the lake or mountain trails, visit some of the several parks in the area, or just kick back and read a great book on the cabin deck and watch the birds and squirrels. Extensive rock and flower landscaping for a beautiful naturistic surrounding.
Fall: Beautiful fall colors surround the area. Call for Special Labor Day Discount.
Ski: Within walking distance of Snow Summit ski area.
Guest Book: We have several guests who return again and again because they love the hominess and comfort of the cabin. There is a guestbook which we like to have our guests fill in comments about their stay.
